“Hello, World!”

Hello anybody who happened to find the first post of my blog. (#Miracle?) On this space, I will be talking about my journey through Computer Science and Politics.

Who cares?

I think that over the next couple years, I will be going through a transformative period, a period in which I will hopefully find myself. A period that may be worth documenting for those who wish to follow my footsteps. I wish that at this point something like this existed for me to follow, but such is life I guess.

Who am I?

I am currently an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science student at a California Community College, which means that I am a math and physics student at community college because engineering is too specialized for a 2-year college to tackle. I love programming! I love solving programming problems, and I cannot sleep until a problem is solved. At the College, I have taken 2 programming courses, Introduction to C++ and Data Structures and am currently taking the Advanced C++ and Discrete Math course(not a programming course). This is the full extent of the Programming courses at the College. These courses have left me in what feels like the middle of a spectrum, advanced enough to be able to program small projects, but not confident enough to be competitive for internships this summer.

I have already applied to transfer to UC Berkeley, with the hope that I get in, I can’t wait to use their upper level work and classes.

So what?

Over the next couple of years, I am going to be working on projects to develop my Programmer Resume. Depending on my outcome (ex employment or failure), this blog may be of use to either avoid my path or follow me.

Small Disclaimer:

I am extremely active in state and college politics involving the California Community College System, If that part doesn’t appeal to you just skip over it.
